One can’t deny that there are more and more women in the theatre and in the film world. Gays seem totally at ease in these circles. But why can’t lesbians feel as comfortable ? Of course they don’t hide, but they are not as open and out as gays are. Why ?

Het is een feit : we zien ze steeds vaker, vrouwen die actief zijn in de theaterof filmwereld. Maar terwijl gays zich "thuis voelen" in deze omgeving en er zelfs vaak op de voorgrond staan, zijn lesbiennes heel wat minder zichtbaar. Niet dat ze zich willen verbergen, maar een coming out in publiek lijkt niet zo voor de hand te liggen. Waarom ?
